Which images are allowed?
Currently, only jpeg, jpg, png, gif and bmp are supported. Files are further limited to a maximum resolution of 6000×4000 pixels at 4MiB per image.
How long are files stored?
Files are guaranteed to be stored for at least one year after they've been last accessed.
What does "make public" mean?
By default all images will be made public, i.e. they will be included in search results and other public listings, like the showcase, most viewed images, etc. You can easily turn this off if you only want to share images with your friends. Please be aware that people may still guess the url, it merely hides it from all pages.
What's this "kiB" and "MiB" all about?
Albeit not quite correct, most people use "kB" (1000 bytes) and "MB" (1000 kB) to measure file sizes. Computers however actually require to divide by 1024 and that's basically what the "i" stands for.
